CAN MY TEETH BE WHITENED?

FROM WHAT AGE?

Yes. Anyone can have their teeth whitened, as long as they are intact and without many restorations. The dentist should carry out a good assessment of the patient's dental condition. it is recommended that bleaching be done only after 16 years of age.

HOW CAN I WHITEN MY TEETH?

Teeth can be whitened using the whitening gel in two ways: in the office, the teeth are isolated to protect the gums and the whitening gel for exclusive use in the office is applied. At home, the patient, under the guidance of the dentist, applies the gel in a tray made by the professional, for a period advised by him.

Can I do the bleaching myself or do I need to go to the dentist?

No bleaching treatment should be used without professional guidance. There must always be monitoring by the dentist. The professional will explain to the patient the most suitable whitening technique for the specific use of the patient.

HOW DOES DENTAL BLEACHING WORK?

The whitening gel molecules penetrate the intimacy of enamel and dentin, which, in turn, "break" the molecules of pigments causing stains, releasing them.

Yes. The products must be industrialized, as the companies that manufacture the whitened gel are supported by research, tests, experiences, professional service and mastery of the composition. The products used are authorized by the Ministry of Health.

WHAT ARE THE CONTRAINDICATIONS OF DENTAL BLEACHING?
